Validity period
The period during which the visa remains valid and can be used for entry into the country. The validity period or expiration date is indicated directly on the visa itself.
Dates of start and end of validity are indicated on the visa. The start date is the day the visa is issued (when it is affixed in the passport). Validity period indicates a timeframe during which the visa can be used for entry into Thailand, but it does not limit a duration of stay in the country after entry. Foreign travelers are required to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card form no more than 3 days prior to their arrival in Thailand.

Typically, visas are processed within a few business days from the submission of a complete document package. However, it is recommended to submit applications several weeks before the travel date. Almost all Thai embassies around the world stopped accepting paper applications and switched to online visa processing.
