DE Rantau program - Digital nomad visa — what you need to know
Aims to attract remote workers and IT professionals, allowing them to live and work in Malaysia remotely for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension for another 12 months. The application is made online through the MDEC (Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation) portal. All travelers need to complete and submit MDAC within 3 days before arrival.
Income of more than US$24,000 per year — for tech professionals
Income of more than US$60,000 per year — for non-tech professionals
A Student Pass is required for a child to attend school
