Visa overview
The IT residence permit is issued to a foreign national who is registered in Georgia as an entrepreneurial natural person with the status of a small business and who conducts activities in the field of information technology as defined by the National Classification of Economic Activities of Georgia under codes 58.21, 58.29, 62.01, 62.02, 62.03, 62.09, 63.1, and 63.12. An application for the IT residence permit must be submitted to the Public Service Development Agency prior to the expiry of the applicant's lawful stay in Georgia. The permit cannot be issued on the basis of a category C ordinary visa.

Consular fee

<p>The total cost of a residence permit consists of two separate fees: the permit issuance fee and the ID card fee.</p> <p> </p> <p>- The issuance fee is 500 GEL for standard processing (90 calendar days) or 750 GEL for expedited processing (60 calendar days). </p> <p>- The ID card fee varies according to collection time: 60 GEL if collected on the 10th working day, 80 GEL on the 5th working day, 100 GEL on the 3rd working day, 120 GEL within 24 hours, and 150 GEL if issued on the day of application submission.</p>

Work authorization decision
Decision on granting the right to work. Submission of the decision is not required if the information on holding the right to work granted by the State Employment Support Agency can be verified through an electronic system.
