Visa overview
The IT residence permit is issued to foreign nationals engaged in information technology activities as an immigrant employee, a small-business entrepreneur, or a person authorised to administer and represent an international IT company, as well as to their family members. The residence permit is issued for a period of 3 years. An application for the IT residence permit must be submitted to the Public Service Development Agency prior to the expiry of the applicant's lawful stay in Georgia. The permit cannot be issued on the basis of a category C ordinary visa.
