China talent visa — what you need to know
For foreigners who are high-level qualified talents or whose skills are urgently needed by China. A Chinese government issues a confirmation letter for high level foreign talents is required. R visa is usually issued for multiple entry and valid for 5–10 years, with a maximum stay per entry of 180 days. Foreign travelers can submit their entry information online before entering China using various official platforms, including the National Immigration Administration (NIA) website via PC or smartphone, the “NIA 12367” mobile app, or the WeChat (Alipay) mini program.
