Visa for companions of GCC citizen — what you need to know

Allows foreigners of specific categories (foreign wife, foreign mother of UAE citizen, helper, etc.) to enter the country as a companion of a citizen of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries for a period not exceeding 60 days. The foreigner should be accompanied by the family head of a GCC citizen or one of his family members (there may be exceptions).

  • The foreign wife of a GCC citizen must hold a valid residence permit in her husband’s country of citizenship
