  • 2 months

    Visa validity period

    The period during which the visa remains valid and can be used for entry into the country. The validity period or expiration date is indicated directly on the visa itself.

    <p>Usually valid to enter the UAE for 60 days from the date of issue. However the exact period within which applicant must enter the UAE after the visa is issued can vary, so it's recommended to verify this information with the sponsor or official UAE immigration authorities.</p>

    Duration of stay

    The maximum duration for which one is permitted to stay in the country continuously from the date of entry.

    <p>The sponsor applies for a visit visa valid for 30, 60 or 180 days, depending on educational or internship program duration in the UAE. However, the immigration authorities' decision on length of stay may vary, depending on documentary evidence provided and other factors.</p>

  • 6 months

    Extension of stay

    The extension of the maximum duration of stay in the country initially permitted by the visa, subject to approval by the immigration authorities. This is typically processed within the country without the need for departure.

    <p>The extension can be granted through a sponsor, not exceeding a total of 180 days.</p>

    The possibility of entering the country only once during the visa's validity period. After departure from the country with such a visa, re-entry is not possible, even if the visa's validity period has not yet expired.

    Consular fee

Payment is in AED and made before approval of the visa.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Additional fees: A refundable security deposit of AED 1,000 is required​ + service fee of AED60​. This deposit is held as a guarantee and refunded after the visitor exits the UAE.</p>

  • Invitation letter

    A letter from the educational or training entity detailing the program, the participant’s name, and duration of study or training​. The official letter should be on the institute’s letterhead, stamped, addressed to immigration. The host also provides copies of their own license and immigration establishment card when applying as sponsor.
