Overseas Chinese student visa — what you need to know
For overseas Chinese students admitted to a Taiwanese university, college, or vocational school through the official overseas Chinese student admission channel managed by the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) and the university entrance committee for overseas Chinese students. Applicants must hold the relevant certificate of admission issued through this dedicated channel. This visa is distinct from the general foreign student visa and follows separate admission procedures.
