For foreign white-collar professionals who hold a valid work permit issued by Taiwan's Workforce Development Agency (WDA) or a relevant central government authority. Covers roles such as: professional/technical workers, foreign English teachers, researchers, managers, and specialists. Blue-collar workers and those who entered Taiwan visa-free or on a landing visa are not eligible. May be applied for within Taiwan if entered on a non-extendable Visitor Visa for employment, investment, business, or tourism purposes.
