Student visa (up to 1 year) — what you need to know
Allows temporary visits longer than 90 days, up to one year for temporary studies or research. A visitor’s permit is a residence permit reviewed by the Swedish Migration Agency. The applicant must have an invitation from an educational institution, funds and travel insurance. Also applies to those in Sweden on a C visa or visa-free who wish to extend their stay without intent to work and settle.
