Digital nomad visa — what you need to know
For a foreigner planning to live in Spain as a resident while working remotely for a company or employer located outside Spanish territory, either as an employee or self-employed, using technological tools. With a salary starting from €2,442 per month. The applicant may also work for a Spanish company, provided that this does not exceed 20% of their professional activity. If a foreigner applies for the visa at a foreign consulate, a national D‑visa is issued for 1 year. After entering Spain and obtaining the residence permit (or if the application is submitted directly from within Spain), it is possible to receive a permit valid for 3 years.
