Description of the visa, its purpose, conditions, peculiarities of issuance, and guidelines for utilization.
For any foreigner planning to live in Spain as a resident while working remotely for a company or employer located outside Spanish territory, either as an employee or self-employed, using technological tools. The applicant may also work for a Spanish company, provided that this does not exceed 20% of their professional activity.
The primary characteristics that define the conditions for obtaining and using a visa. These conditions may vary depending on the individual circumstances of the applicant and the decision of the immigration authorities of the country.

Validity period
The period during which the visa remains valid and can be used for entry into the country. The validity period or expiration date is indicated directly on the visa itself.
Before applying for a visa, the applicant has to obtain an authorization for live and work in Spain. This document will determine the validity of the issued visa. The maximum validity for this type of visa cannot exceed 1 year.

Length of stay
The maximum duration for which one is permitted to stay in the country continuously from the date of entry.
The visa entitles its holder to reside in Spain for the entire period of its validity, which cannot exceed 1 year. However, if the applicant plans to stay in Spain for a longer period, it is necessary to request a foreigner's identity card (T.I.E., Tarjeta de Identificación de Extranjeros) from the Foreigners Registration Office or the relevant police station.

Extension of stay
The extension of the maximum duration of stay in the country initially permitted by the visa, subject to approval by the immigration authorities. This is typically processed within the country without the need for departure.
In most cases, visa extensions are not granted; however, it is possible to apply for an extension of the residence permit with the immigration authority up to 60 days before its expiration. The visa can only be extended in cases where leaving Spanish territory is impossible due to the need for emergency medical treatment, serious illness, or the death of a relative, as well as in situations of force majeure or natural disasters.
single-entry
The possibility of entering the country only once during the visa's validity period. After departure from the country with such a visa, re-entry is not possible, even if the visa's validity period has not yet expired.
multiple-entry
The ability to enter and exit the country an unlimited number of times, unless otherwise specified, within the visa's validity period.
Number of entries
A parameter specifying the number of times the visa holder can enter the country during its validity period. Visas can be single-entry, multiple-entry, or with a specified number of entries.
The applicant specifies the required number of entries on the visa application; however, consulates make a decision, which may vary depending on provided documentary evidence and other factors. A visa may be issued for single or multiple entries.

Processing time
The period during which the immigration authorities review the application and make a decision regarding the issuance of the visa. Only business days are counted, excluding weekends and public holidays.
The established period for making a decision on this visa is 10 days from the date of application, however, in rare cases, the consulate may require from 10 to 30 days to make a decision on the application. Additionally, consular officers may require the applicant to provide additional documents or materials, depending on the circumstances. This may significantly increase the processing time.

Consular fee
A fee levied for the processing and evaluation of an application. This charge is non-refundable under any circumstances. In certain instances, the payment of supplementary fees may be required.
The fee may be waived or may vary depending on the nationality, marital status, specific purpose of visit and other individual characteristics of the applicant. The consular fee is the official fee for processing the visa application by the Spanish Embassy or Consulate and does not include any additional payments that may be required depending on the place and method of submission, such as visa center fees, the cost of processing permits and other documents, postal and courier delivery of documents, etc.

Passport
Issued less than 10 years ago, with a validity period exceeding the duration of the visa by at least until the anticipated end date of the study and with at least two blank pages.
Documents that specify, substantiate, and confirm the purpose of the visit, as well as provide necessary information about the applicant and their future activities in the country.
Health insurance cover
Original and a copy of the certificate accrediting the public or private health insurance contracted with an insurance entity authorized to operate in Spain. The insurance policy must cover all the risks insured by Spain's public health system.
Financial evidence
Financial means must be at least 200% of the monthly Spanish national minimum wage In the case of family members: for the first family member, they must prove additional financial means of at least 75% of the Spanish minimum wage. For each additional applicant, 25% of the Spanish national minimum wage is required.
Certification of working
Certification of working for at least 3 months for a foreign company. The applicant will submit a certificate, issued by the company, and stating the following: - If the applicant is an employee: 1. Length of the contract. 2. Explicit consent to work remotely in Spain. 3. Salary. - If the applicant is self-employed: 1 Length of the contract. 2. The terms and conditions to work remotely in Spain.
Certificate of company
Certificate declaring the date of creation of the company (or companies) and the type of business.
Academic and professional CV
Copy of the University degree or professional certificate confirming that the applicant has at least 3 years of experience in his/her business activity.
Documents required vary depending on individual circumstances, specific visa conditions, the place, and the method of application.
Receipt of fee payment
Confirmation of the visa application processing fee.
Criminal record check
Criminal record certificate issued no more than five months before the application date, by their country or countries of residence for the past 5 years.
Health insurance cover

Power of attorney

Additionally, they must be accompanied by a certified translation into the official language of that country or into English, unless otherwise specified by the mission's requirements.
