Student visa — what you need to know
Designed for foreign nationals attending a course or other similar educational or training program that lasts at least 20 hours per month. Applicants must submit an acceptance certificate for the course and, if applicable, proof of payment. Upon arrival in Slovenia, foreign nationals may apply for a temporary residence permit for study purposes before the expiry of their permitted period of stay in the Republic of Slovenia. The permit is issued for the duration of the studies or training programme, but for a period not exceeding 1 year.
