Visa-free stay for cruise passengers — what you need to know
Foreign nationals may enter and remain in the Russian Federation without a visa for a period not exceeding 72 hours, provided that their stay is directly connected to a cruise ship or ferry call. The following conditions must be met: the traveller must arrive and depart on the same vessel; overnight accommodation must be arranged on board the ship; and all shore excursions must be conducted as part of organised group tours provided by an accredited local tour operator.
