Visa overview
The program offers a residence permit through investment and is designed for non-EU nationals who make eligible investments in the Portuguese economy. It allows holders to live, work, and study in Portugal, as well as travel freely within the Schengen Area. Applications are submitted through the online ARI portal of the Portuguese immigration authority (AIMA). After preliminary approval, applicants must travel to Portugal to provide biometric data (fingerprints and a photograph).
