Designed for students entering Poland to pursue education, long-term research for stays exceeding 90 days. Issued to current students of accredited higher education programme, planning to study in Poland at a university or institute of higher professional education.
Admission to a Polish educational institution for a period of at least 3 months is required
Proof of sufficient funds for living and studying is required
After entry, a residence card (karta pobytu) must be obtained if the study period exceeds the visa validity period
Application process: admission to an educational institution → obtaining a D visa → entry into Poland → obtaining a residence card
After obtaining a residence permit, family members can join the applicant. Family members may work
