A visa holder intended to stay in Morocco for a period exceeding 3 months must apply for a registration card from the competent services of the General Directorate of National Security. The registration card grants a residence permit valid for 1 to 10 years and may be renewed for an equivalent period, based on justifications provided to the competent Moroccan authorities.

Number of entries
A parameter specifying the number of times the visa holder can enter the country during its validity period. Visas can be single-entry, multiple-entry, or with a specified number of entries.
The applicant specifies the required number of entries on the visa application; however, consulates make a decision, which may vary depending on provided documentary evidence and other factors. A visa may be issued for single, double, or multiple entries.

Processing time
The period during which the immigration authorities review the application and make a decision regarding the issuance of the visa. Only business days are counted, excluding weekends and public holidays.
Decisions on visa applications are taken within 10 working days from the date of submission. This period may be extended to a maximum of 30 days depending on individual circumstances. However, the processing time may be prolonged due to the requirement for additional documentation, verification procedures, or other specific circumstances.
