In the Maldives, all foreign citizens are usually issued a visa upon arrival. Depending on the purpose of the visit, the visa is issued for the duration of the trip or for the period required to complete the process of applying for a basic visa in the Maldives. Visitors must submit IMUGA Traveller Declaration 96 hours before the trip and satisfy the basic entry requirements to get immigration clearance upon arrival.
