Visa overview
Issued to wealthy foreigners, retirees and other categories who wish to live in Malaysia on a semi-permanent basis. Before an applicant can apply for a visa, an accredited agent must get a conditional approval from Malaysian Immigration Department, which allows applying for a visa (known as visa with reference) which permits to enter the country in order to complete all procedures and obtain a long-term multiple entry visa. All travelers need to complete and submit MDAC within 3 days before arrival.
