  • 6 months

    Visa validity period

    The period during which the visa remains valid and can be used for entry into the country. The validity period or expiration date is indicated directly on the visa itself.

    <p>The validity establishes the first and last dates during which the visa can be used. The visa expires on the last day of its validity. The decision on the validity of a Kyrgyz visa is taken by the competent authority responsible for issuing visas, usually the State Migration Service of the Kyrgyz Republic or its authorized bodies. The validity of a visa is determined on the basis of the purpose of the visit, provided documents and internal regulatory acts of the Kyrgyz Republic.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The maximum validity of this visa is 180 days.</p>

    Duration of stay

    The maximum duration for which one is permitted to stay in the country continuously from the date of entry.

    <p><strong>The permitted period of stay without registration at the place of residence is 60 days. Registration can be completed at any Public Service Center (TsON). This can be done either in person or online. Within these 60 days, an application for the extension of the Digital Nomad status must also be submitted if a longer stay is planned.</strong></p>

    Extension of stay

    The extension of the maximum duration of stay in the country initially permitted by the visa, subject to approval by the immigration authorities. This is typically processed within the country without the need for departure.

    <p class="ds-markdown-paragraph"><strong>An application for extension must be submitted within the first 60 days from the date of obtaining the status. The application must be submitted online via the personal account on the official portal. Extending the status requires a more comprehensive set of documents than the initial application. In addition to the standard package, the following must be added:</strong></p> <p class="ds-markdown-paragraph">&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>- A medical certificate of HIV test results, issued in Kyrgyzstan;</strong><br><strong>- A medical certificate of the established form confirming completion of a professional consultation examination;</strong><br><strong>- Documents confirming business registration in the Kyrgyz Republic.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>This procedure may be repeated annually, and the total period of your stay in Digital Nomad status may be up to 10 years.</strong></p>

    The ability to enter and exit the country an unlimited number of times, unless otherwise specified, within the visa's validity period.

    Number of entries

    A parameter specifying the number of times the visa holder can enter the country during its validity period. Visas can be single-entry, multiple-entry, or with a specified number of entries.

    The period during which the immigration authorities review the application and make a decision regarding the issuance of the visa. Only business days are counted, excluding weekends and public holidays.

  • Passport

    Current passport that is valid for at least 6 months.

  • Photograph

    The photo must be 35x45 mm in size with a plain white background, a resolution of at least 600 dpi, the head approximately 34.5 mm in height, the face clearly visible without head coverings (except for religious reasons), and the photo should be recent, taken within the last 6 months.

  • Payment of visa fee

    Payment of visa fee in Kyrgyzstan can be made online using payment systems Visa and MasterCard.

Supporting

Documents that specify, substantiate, and confirm the purpose of the visit, as well as provide necessary information about the applicant and their future activities in the country.

  • Employment contract or agreement

    An employment contract or agreement with a foreign company (covering the last 2 years or valid for a future period).

  • Service agreements

    Agreements with clients or freelance platforms.

  • Proof of qualifications

    Professional certificates, diplomas, or reference letters confirming qualifications in the IT/creative industries.

  • Bank statement

    A statement of annual income. The amount must be at least $5,000 (five thousand US dollars) for the last 12 months.

  • Bank certificate of account balance

    The presence of at least $3,000 (three thousand US dollars) in the current account at the time of application.

Additional

Documents required vary depending on individual circumstances, specific visa conditions, the place, and the method of application.

  • Proof of accommodation

    Confirmed hotel booking, rental contract, proof of residential property or staying with a private host covering the whole duration of the stay.

  • Travel insurance

    Covering the entire duration of the stay in Kyrgyzstan.

*Foreign official documents must be apostilled and legalized in accordance with the regulations of the country whose consular or diplomatic mission they are being submitted to. Additionally, they must be accompanied by a certified translation into the official language of that country or into English, unless otherwise specified by the mission's requirements.
