The so-called Japan Highly Skilled Professional Visa is issued through a points-based system (an applicant must achieve a certain number of points in the “Highly Skilled Professional Points System”) to highly qualified foreigners who meet the criteria. It permits stays of up to 5 years and allows the accompaniment of family members.
Consular fee
