Internship visa — what you need to know
Issued for foreign students enrolled full-time in a third-level educational institution outside Ireland to undertake an internship or gain work experience in the State. Applicants must first obtain an Internship Employment Permit linked to a specific employer, occupation, and location before applying for a D visa.
