Granted to third-country nationals who possess a professional qualification, professional athletes or coaches, performers, and individuals employed in a film production business registered under the Motion Picture Act.
The work permit is tied to a specific employer
Procedure: conclusion of a preliminary agreement or employment contract → application for the Hungarian Card → approval of the residence permit → obtaining a D visa → entry into Hungary → receipt of the Hungarian Card by mail
Qualification in the corresponding professional field is required
The residence permit is issued for 3 years and can be extended for up to another 3 years
