Designed for foreign nationals coming to Georgia for labor activities, for representatives and consultants performing official duties, and for individuals arriving in Georgia to carry out entrepreneurial activity under the Law of Georgia on Entrepreneurs.

Visa validity period
The period during which the visa remains valid and can be used for entry into the country. The validity period or expiration date is indicated directly on the visa itself.
<p>The visa is issued with a maximum validity of up to 90 days.</p>

Extension of stay
The extension of the maximum duration of stay in the country initially permitted by the visa, subject to approval by the immigration authorities. This is typically processed within the country without the need for departure.
<p>The visa cannot be extended. Foreign nationals who wish to stay beyond the visa’s validity must apply for the appropriate residence permit at least 40 days before their legal stay expires.</p>

Processing time

Documents
A list of documents required for visa application. The exact list depends on the chosen visa type, the purpose of the visit, and the individual conditions of the applicant.
Mandatory
The essential minimum documents required for a visa application, such as a passport or visa application form. These are necessary regardless of the location, method, or conditions of the application.
Travel health insurance
Valid for the full duration of stay in Georgia, covering at least €10,000, and include ambulance services, emergency medical care, urgent hospitalization, medical evacuation, and repatriation, including in case of death. The insurance policy may be issued by either a Georgian or a foreign insurance company. It may be checked by authorities upon arrival. The document must be presented in physical or electronic form and be available in Georgian or English.
Passport
Issued less than 10 years ago, with a validity period exceeding the duration of the visa by at least 3 months and with at least two blank pages. The passport should not be damaged and should not include unofficial remarks.
Visa application form
Official visa application form, completely filled and signed by the applicant.
Photograph
Must be recent (taken within the last 6 months), in color (or black and white), clear, and sized 35x45mm. The face should occupy 70-80% of the image, printed on high-quality, matte paper with a plain, light background. Hair must not cover the eyes or eyebrows. Headwear is not permitted unless worn for religious or medical reasons, and the full face must remain visible.

Confirmation of the visa application processing fee.
Supporting
Documents that specify, substantiate, and confirm the purpose of the visit, as well as provide necessary information about the applicant and their future activities in the country.
Employment contract
The applicant must submit an employment contract that specifies the employment period and the salary or other compensation the foreign national will receive.
Proof of labor relationship
The applicant must provide a document confirming the labor (commercial or professional) relationship between their employer and a physical entity residing in Georgia, and a legal entity registered in Georgia. When such a relationship exists, the applicant must also submit a document verifying their own labor relationship with the relevant foreign organization. That document must include the duration of the employment relationship and the amount of remuneration or other types of income.
Extract from Public Registry
An extract from the Public Registry confirming that the applicant is the founder or co-founder of an entrepreneurial (commercial) legal entity registered in Georgia, or is authorized to be in charge of or represent such entity.
Proof of entrepreneurial activity
The applicant must provide a document confirming that they have conducted or are currently conducting entrepreneurial activity in their own country or another country, or a document demonstrating that they possess sufficient financial funds (the amount required for an investment residence permit) to carry out entrepreneurial activity in Georgia.

Proof of accommodation
Confirmed hotel booking, rental contract, proof of residential property ownership, a document from a legal person registered in Georgia stating that it provides accommodation (including the address), a notarised document from a natural person stating that they provide accommodation (including the place and period of stay), an invitation in which the inviting party guarantees accommodation, or any other document that demonstrates the existence of accommodation in Georgia.
Proof of financial mean
Recent bank statement for the last three months or any other proof of income (a current employer reference letter confirming the visitor's position and income, documentary proof of real estate ownership). This document must demonstrate sufficient funds to support oneself for the entire stay and for return expenses. Applicants must demonstrate that they have five times the minimum living wage established in Georgia on the date the visa application is submitted. In cases of sponsorship by a host, an invitation letter with financial commitments and proof of the sponsor's income must also be provided. The letter must be dated and signed, and include the sponsor's full name, address, contact information, relationship to the applicant, place of destination, duration of stay, and a list of costs to be covered by the sponsor.
Current immigration or residence status
National passport or ID card; residence permit or other document confirming the right to legally reside in the country of residence, if it differs from the one stated in the applicant's passport.
Proof of fine payment
Applicants must submit a receipt confirming payment of any fine that was imposed on them for illegally staying in the territory of Georgia.
Power of attorney
A person acting with representative powers when submitting a visa application must provide documentary evidence of such powers.
*Foreign official documents must be apostilled and legalized in accordance with the regulations of the country whose consular or diplomatic mission they are being submitted to. Additionally, they must be accompanied by a certified translation into the official language of that country or into English, unless otherwise specified by the mission's requirements.

Requirements
The minimum criteria that each visa applicant must meet. If these criteria are not met, justifications and convincing evidence of intent to visit the country must be provided.

Sufficient means to support oneself and their dependents for the duration of their stay in the country.
The applicant does not pose a threat to public order, internal security, public health or international relations of the country.
Insurance policy for the entire period of stay, meeting the minimum mandatory or recommended requirements for the country.
Valid permanent resident status or proof thereof; all preliminary procedures for visa application have been completed.
