Intra-corporate transfer visa — what you need to know
Issued for a temporary transfer of employees, performing the activities of a manager, expert and trainee, from a branch located in a third country to a branch in Croatia. Granted for professional or training purposes.
This stay does not count toward the long‑term residence qualifying period
Work experience requirements before transfer: managers/specialists — from 9 months, trainees — from 6 months of continuous work in the company
Application procedure: obtain ICT permit → obtain D visa → enter Croatia → obtain biometric card
Salary must be no less than that of Croatian workers in comparable roles
Maximum transfer period: 3 years for managers/specialists, 1 year for trainees
Family members can relocate with the main applicant
A residence permit for family reunification grants access to the labour market without a separate work authorisation
No separate work permit is required
The labour market test and the opinion of the HZZ (Croatian Employment Service) are not required
