Visa for providing services — what you need to know
Issued to foreign nationals who have entered into an agreement with a company in Croatia to provide services, including specialized services in the field of high technology.
The procedure is started by the employer
Relocation with family and family reunification are not allowed
Application procedure: service agreement → stay and work permit → D visa → entry into Croatia → biometric card collection
The agreement is concluded between a foreign employer and a Croatian company or sole proprietor
Appropriate qualifications in the field of high technology are required
This stay does not count toward the long‑term residence qualifying period
No separate work permit is required
The labour market test and the opinion of the HZZ (Croatian Employment Service) are not required
