Issued to a foreign national who wishes to visit Colombia once or multiple times, or to stay temporarily in the country without the intention of remaining there as a permanent resident. This is the main visa for temporary travel, covering a wide range of purposes, from tourism and short-term business to medical treatment and even long-term remote work. The maximum validity period of the visa (i.e., the period during which the applicant can use it to enter the country) can be up to 2 years, depending on the selected category. This type of visa does not lead to obtaining permanent residency in Colombia.
