Visa overview

Allows foreigners in possession of a permanent residence permit, or a visa valid for more than 6 months, issued by the United States or any of the countries belonging to the Schengen Area, to enter Colombia without a visa for tourism, family visits or business purposes for up to 90 days. Employment during the stay is not permitted. To enter Colombia, the foreigner must pre-register online with an electronic entry permit - Check-MIG forms 3 days before departure.

    Proof of sufficient financial means to cover expenses for the entire stay (e.g., bank statements, cash). The required amount to be proven is not officially fixed, but typically it is sufficient to show an equivalent of approximately 50-100 US dollars per day of stay.

  • Residence permit or visa

    A permanent residence permit, or a visa valid for more than 6 months, issued by the United States or any of the countries belonging to the Schengen Area.

  • Documents for minor children
