Family members of foreigners who reside in China for work or study purposes can apply for an S2 visa for a short-term trip. The relatives include spouses, parents, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, spouses of sons or daughters, and parents-in-law. The visa allows stays up to 180 days, and the applicant can have a single, double, or multiple entry visa.
