eTA — what you need to know
Applies to travelers from certain countries who are required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) before flying to Canada. The eTA is electronically linked to the passport and is valid for up to 5 years or until the passport expires, whichever comes first. It allows multiple entries, with each stay lasting up to 6 months.
