Digital Nomad visa for management — what you need to know
Issued to a foreign national who is a legal representative, member of the governing body, owner of a company, or a partner or shareholder of a company established outside a member state of the EU, EEA, or Switzerland. The remote services must be provided through this company using information technology, and the applicant must not perform work and/or provide services for persons within the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Annual income — 50 minimum salaries of Bulgaria (~€27,500)
Procedure: obtain a D visa → enter Bulgaria → apply for a residence permit
Residence permit issued for 1 year, renewable once for another year
Visa eligible: legal representative, management board member, foreign company owner, and partner/shareholder with a stake of more than 25%
Travel is permitted throughout the Schengen Area
Following the issuance of the residence permit, family members may be joined under a separate reunification procedure
