MERCOSUR agreement visa — what you need to know
Is a specialized residence permit for nationals of countries that are parties to the MERCOSUR Residence Agreement. It allows citizens from these countries to live and work in Brazil for a period of up to two years, with the option to convert to permanent residency. Namely: Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. Within 30 days of entry in Brazil, holders of this type of visa must register at the Federal Police and submit a copy of the visa application form provided by this Embassy.
