Health treatment visa — what you need to know
Granted to a foreigner travelling to Brazil to undergo a health treatment that is expected to last more than 90 days, can also be granted to one companion of the patient. If an applicant will stay less than 90 days, VIVIS will be the appropriate visa. If an applicant is underdoing an organ transplant, the Ministry of Health in Brazil requires a specific medical report from the doctor.
