<p>Possible for the same period, but not automatically. In order to extend the participation of a foreign doctor, the law requires that the conditions of the program be fulfilled.</p>

A fee levied for the processing and evaluation of an application. This charge is non-refundable under any circumstances. In certain instances, the payment of supplementary fees may be required.
<p>The visa is free of charge, and its issuance depends on the official confirmation of the doctor's participation in the program by the Ministry of Health and the approval of the MRE.</p>

Mandatory

Passport
A valid passport with a validity period exceeding 6 months and with at least two blank pages.
Photograph
Must be recent (taken within the last 6 months), in color, clear, and sized 35x45mm. The face should occupy 70-80% of the image, printed on high-quality, matte paper with a plain, light background. Hair must not cover the eyes or eyebrows. Headwear is not permitted unless worn for religious or medical reasons, and the full face must remain visible.

Full Birth certificate
The name of the parents must be indicated. Birth certificates from outside the Consulate's jurisdiction (includes those issued in other countries) must be apostilled.
Police сlearance
Valid, apostilled original police record from a home country. Applicants who have lived in other/multiple countries within the last 12 months must provide a police record from each of those countries. They must also be duly apostilled or legalized by the respective Brazilian consular authority with jurisdiction over these countries, and translated by a sworn translator, if necessary.
Supporting
Documents that specify, substantiate, and confirm the purpose of the visit, as well as provide necessary information about the applicant and their future activities in the country.
Proof of enrollment
Confirmation of participation/registration in Projeto Mais Médicos. The issuance of VICAM visa is subject to the prior approval of the MRE based on an official notification from the Ministry of Health regarding the inclusion of a foreign doctor in the Mais Médicos.

Current immigration or residence status
National passport or ID card; residence permit or other document confirming the right to legally reside in the country of residence, if it differs from the one stated in the applicant's passport.
