Visa overview
Allows travellers from certain countries to visit Australia for tourism, visiting family, short-term study purposes, or some business visitor activities. The application is submitted in the Australian ETA application. European passport holders may be eligible for an eVisitor visa (651).

<p>ETA is valid for travel to Australia for 12 months, starting from the date it is granted.</p>

The maximum duration for which one is permitted to stay in the country continuously from the date of entry.
<p>Applicants can stay in Australia for 3 months after each entry.</p>

Extension of stay
The extension of the maximum duration of stay in the country initially permitted by the visa, subject to approval by the immigration authorities. This is typically processed within the country without the need for departure.
<p>An extension is impossible. Aliens must apply for another visa.</p>

Number of entries

A fee levied for the processing and evaluation of an application. This charge is non-refundable under any circumstances. In certain instances, the payment of supplementary fees may be required.
<p>There is a service charge of AUD20 to use the Australian ETA app and no other charge is payable for an ETA.</p>

Paid in full or flight booking confirmation. Must be issued by airline or travel company and must contain the applicant's name, flight number and date. If applicable.
Proof of financial means
Recent bank statement for the last three months or any other proof of income. This document must demonstrate sufficient funds to support oneself for the entire stay and for return expenses (bank statement, pay stubs, or proof of employment).
Proof of accommodation
Сopy of hotel reservation, rental contract, or letter from friends/family in Australia.

Certificate of criminal record
Confirming no criminal record in the applicant’s home or residence country.
Medical certificate
Health certificates confirming that they have no easily transmitted diseases such as tuberculosis or other serious diseases. It is recommended to check the exact requirements directly with the place where the application is submitted.

Additionally, they must be accompanied by a certified translation into the official language of that country or into English, unless otherwise specified by the mission's requirements.

Requirements
