Core skills visa — what you need to know
This visa enables employers to address labour shortages by bringing in skilled workers where employers can't source an appropriately skilled Australian worker. Foreign worker must be nominated for an occupation included in the Core Skills Occupations List (CSOL); receive the Annual Market Salary Rate (AMSR) for the occupation and not less than the Core Skills Income Threshold (CSIT); and have at least 1 year of relevant work experience in the nominated occupation or a related field.
