Description of the visa, its purpose, conditions, peculiarities of issuance, and guidelines for utilization.
Allows citizens from Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Thailand, and Indonesia to enter Albania without a visa for tourism and family visits for a period since April 15th 2025 until December 31st 2025. Travellers are required to have sufficient funds, valid health insurance, and a return or onward ticket. Employment during the stay is not permitted.

The maximum duration for which one is permitted to stay in the country continuously from the date of entry.
The maximum permitted stay is up to 90 days in any 180-day period starting from the date of the first entry. Each day of stay is counted as part of all the previous 180 days starting from the current date. During this 180-day period, the total duration of stay must not exceed 90 days, regardless of the number of entries.

Extension of stay
The extension of the maximum duration of stay in the country initially permitted by the visa, subject to approval by the immigration authorities. This is typically processed within the country without the need for departure.
An extension is only possible in exceptional cases. The responsible authority may extend the visa stay if the applicant applies before the visa expires and demonstrates that force majeure or humanitarian reasons prevented timely departure. The extension is free of charge and linked to the specific need. The decision is made within 3 days, and the applicant may remain in Albania until the decision is reached.

The ability to enter and exit the country an unlimited number of times, unless otherwise specified, within the visa's validity period.
Number of entries
A parameter specifying the number of times the visa holder can enter the country during its validity period. Visas can be single-entry, multiple-entry, or with a specified number of entries.
The number of visa-free entries is unlimited as long as the criteria for such entry are met and all applicable rules and laws are complied with.

Processing time
The period during which the immigration authorities review the application and make a decision regarding the issuance of the visa. Only business days are counted, excluding weekends and public holidays.
No preliminary actions or procedures are required for visa-free entry. Visa-free entry can be used at any time, as long as all the rules and laws that regulate it are observed.

Current immigration or residence status
Residence permit confirming the right to legally reside in the country of residence, valid for more than 12 months. The validity of the residence permit must exceed the duration of the visa by at least 3 months.
Proof of employment
Documents confirming the applicant's stable employment in the country of origin or residence. Unemployed persons must demonstrate their intention to return to the country of origin or residence.
Bank statement
Bank statement reflecting the transaction history for the last 12 months.
Proof of financial mean
Documents confirming sufficient funds to support oneself for the entire stay and return expenses. Or proof that the applicant will be able to access such legal financial means in Albania.
Proof of accommodation
Evidence of accommodation booking, or an invitation letter from an individual, either private or legal, providing accommodation in Albania.
Return ticket
Paid in full or flight booking confirmation. Must be issued by airline or travel company and must contain the applicant's name, flight number and date. Or proof of personal transportation capability.
Parental consent
Declaration, in accordance with legal requirements, confirming the consent of a parent or a legal guardian for the minor's travel.
*Foreign official documents must be apostilled and legalized in accordance with the regulations of the country whose consular or diplomatic mission they are being submitted to. Additionally, they must be accompanied by a certified translation into the official language of that country or into English, unless otherwise specified by the mission's requirements.
