Issued for tourism, recreation, family visits, or other short-term non-commercial activities. Allows stays of up to 60 days, with the option to extend for up to 30 additional days. Entry requirements include proof of accommodation and sufficient funds. At the end of 2024, the global rollout of e-Visa was announced: almost all Thai embassies around the world stopped accepting paper applications and switched to online visa processing.
