Issued to foreign professionals with the necessary qualifications or skills. This permission allows a foreigner to enter the country for professional services or practical training at a Malaysian company, while remaining an employee of a foreign organization (i.e. without employment in a Malaysian firm). Before an applicant can apply for this visa, a sponsor (host organization) must get visa approval letter from Malaysian Immigration Department or through MDEC, which allows applying for a visa (known as visa with reference).
