Extension of stay

Passport
Must be valid at least six months from planned arrival date in Taiwan.

Photo

Completed online, printed and signed by the applicant. The printed form must display a barcode.
Proof of financial mean
Evidence of financial resources to meet the expenses for the stay in Taiwan.
Return ticket
Paid-in-full ticket or confirmed flight booking. Must be issued by an airline or travel company and contain the applicant's name, flight number, and date. A transit or onward ticket is also acceptable.
Government ministry approval letter
Approval letter from the relevant Taiwanese government ministry endorsing the internship arrangement.
Proof of student status
Current enrolment certificate or student card from the applicant's home university or institution, confirming that the internship is part of their academic programme.
