Visa validity period
The period during which the visa remains valid and can be used for entry into the country. The validity period or expiration date is indicated directly on the visa itself.
If the application for an EntrePass is approved, ICA will issue an In-Principle Approval (IPA) letter to the foreigner. The visa is automatically included in the IPA letter. Entry into Singapore can be made by presenting the IPA letter at the immigration checkpoint, where a Visit Pass will be granted. The IPA is valid for a limited period (usually up to 6 months from the date of issuance), during which entry and completion of the registration process must take place.

The maximum duration for which one is permitted to stay in the country continuously from the date of entry.
The candidate should present their IPA letter to the immigration office, where they will be granted a Visit Pass. Within 6 months of validity of in-principle approval (IPA) the foreigner must complete any required medical examinations, get the pass issued and receive a notification letter stating whether registration is required. Typically, the EntrePass is issued for 1 year upon initial application.

Extension of stay

The Singaporean EntrePass is typically valid for 1 year upon initial issuance and first renewal, with subsequent renewals granted for 2 years. Renewal depends on the continued operation of the declared business and adherence to established conditions: the company must be registered as a private limited company, the applicant must hold at least 30% of the shares, the company must have a minimum paid-up capital of SGD 50,000, and the ongoing business activity must be demonstrated.

Curriculum vitae
The applicant's CV and past employment testimonials (if any) to elaborate on professional experiences, awards or recognitions.
Company’s profile
The company’s most recent business profile or real-time information from Bizfile (if applicable).
Financial statement
The most recent financial statement (applicable if the company has been registered with ACRA for over 12 months).
Documents required vary depending on individual circumstances, specific visa conditions, the place, and the method of application.
Documents for minor children
Birth certificate, adoption certificate, or guardianship certificate evidencing parental or guardianship rights; certified power of attorney or permission from parents or legal guardians for minors traveling abroad.
Proof of financial means
Recent bank statement for the last three months or any other proof of income. This document must demonstrate sufficient funds to support oneself for the entire stay and for return expenses. In cases of sponsorship by a host, an invitation letter with financial commitments and proof of the sponsor's income must also be provided.
Proof of accommodation
Confirmed hotel booking, rental contract, proof of residential property or staying with a private host covering the whole duration of the stay.
Current immigration or residence status
National passport or ID card; residence permit or other document confirming the right to legally reside in the country of residence, if it differs from the one stated in the applicant's passport.
Receipt of fee payment
Confirmation of the visa application processing fee.
Evidence of intention to return
Evidence of strong ties to the home country, indicating an intention to return after the visit, is required.
Raised funding
Applicants should submit documents proving the indicated fundraising amount and their role within the business. Evidence that a minimum of SGD 100,000 was raised in a single funding round from investors for any past or current business must be provided. Examples are: - Investment agreements; - Shareholder certificates.
Letter of support from incubator/accelerator
Documents demonstrating that the business is or will be supported by the specified incubator or accelerator, such as an incubation agreement.
Sale and purchase agreement
A sale and purchase agreement indicating the applicant's name and information, if business was sold under their management.
IP registration
Documents that indicate the intellectual property (IP) such as the IP registration.
Research collaboration agreement
Documents that indicate the research collaboration such as the Research Collaboration Agreement (RCA).
