For official visitors invited by a Saudi Arabian government institution, ministry, or department. The visa allows staying in Saudi Arabia for no more than 90 days.

Validity period

The maximum duration for which one is permitted to stay in the country continuously from the date of entry.
The stay period is 14, 30 or 90 days. The applicant can choose the required number of days at the time of filling in the visa application form.

Extension of stay
The extension of the maximum duration of stay in the country initially permitted by the visa, subject to approval by the immigration authorities. This is typically processed within the country without the need for departure.
An extension is impossible. Only in exceptional cases if serious circumstances arise that make it impossible to leave Saudi Arabia.
single-entry
The possibility of entering the country only once during the visa's validity period. After departure from the country with such a visa, re-entry is not possible, even if the visa's validity period has not yet expired.
multiple-entry
The ability to enter and exit the country an unlimited number of times, unless otherwise specified, within the visa's validity period.
Number of entries
A parameter specifying the number of times the visa holder can enter the country during its validity period. Visas can be single-entry, multiple-entry, or with a specified number of entries.
The applicant can choose the required number of entries at the time of filling in the visa application form. The duration of stay depends on the number of entries.

Processing time
The period during which the immigration authorities review the application and make a decision regarding the issuance of the visa. Only business days are counted, excluding weekends and public holidays.
The decision on visa applications is taken within three days. It can be extended if additional checks are required.

Consular fee
A fee levied for the processing and evaluation of an application. This charge is non-refundable under any circumstances. In certain instances, the payment of supplementary fees may be required.
Visa fees are given in US dollars. In addition, the applicant must pay an administrative fee and pay for medical services. The application fee is roughly USD 10.50. Insurance fees vary based on the selected insurance provider.

Must be purchased from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Options for local health insurance providers will appear upon processing application form.

Referral note has to indicate number and date of visa, issued by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs or either of its branches in Jeddah or Dammam.
Invitation letter
Letter of invitation from the Saudi sponsor company and an introduction letter from applicant's company the addressed to the Consular Section, Saudi Embassy. Only original versions of the letters are accepted.

Current immigration or residence status
National passport or ID card; residence permit or other document confirming the right to legally reside in the country of residence, if it differs from the one stated in the applicant's passport.

Additionally, they must be accompanied by a certified translation into the official language of that country or into English, unless otherwise specified by the mission's requirements.
