Issued to professional pilot to complete the last year of full-time programme at vocational education level 4 (MBO4) in the Netherlands. Obtained a score of at least 4.5 on a test of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or have been educated in English before.

Validity period
The period during which the visa remains valid and can be used for entry into the country. The validity period or expiration date is indicated directly on the visa itself.
The MVV visa sticker is valid for 90 days after it is granted. Before applying for an MVV (National) visa, one must receive a positive decision from the Immigration and Naturalization Service (IND). After receiving a positive IND decision, the applicant has three months to apply for the MVV sticker. Upon receiving the MVV visa, the applicant must travel to the Netherlands within 90 days to collect their residence permit from IND.

The maximum duration for which one is permitted to stay in the country continuously from the date of entry.
After recieving MVV visa sticker, the applicant must travel to the Netherlands and collect residence permit from the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) within 90 days. The residence permit is valid for 12 months at most.

Processing time
The period during which the immigration authorities review the application and make a decision regarding the issuance of the visa. Only business days are counted, excluding weekends and public holidays.
Decisions on visa applications are made by the Immigration and Naturalization Service (IND) within 60 calendar days from the date of submission. After a positive IND decision, the applicant should reach the consulate to obtain an MVV sticker visa. It may take up to 10-15 business days to prepare a visa sticker.

Consular fee
A fee levied for the processing and evaluation of an application. This charge is non-refundable under any circumstances. In certain instances, the payment of supplementary fees may be required.

Issued less than 10 years ago, with a validity period exceeding the duration of the visa by at least three months and with at least two blank pages.

A completed and signed MVV issue form.
Letter from the IND
A photocopy of the letter from the IND stating that application has been approved.
Declaration of intent to undergo TB test
In order to obtain a residence permit, aplicant must be prepared to undergo a tuberculosis (TB) test in the Netherlands and - if necessary -treatment. After arrival to the Netherlands, withing 3 months aplicant should make a TB test appointment with the Municipal Health Service (GGD) in the area where they live or will be living.
Antecedents certificate
An antecedents certificate is a statement in which the applicant indicates whether they have committed a criminal offense in the past, or are currently being prosecuted for committing a criminal offense. This includes crimes committed in the Netherlands or criminal offenses abroad. The antecedents certificate must be completed by any person 12 years of age or older.
Documents that specify, substantiate, and confirm the purpose of the visit, as well as provide necessary information about the applicant and their future activities in the country.
Declaration by sponsor
The completed and signed appendix ‘Declaration by sponsor’.
Student status proof
Proff that applicant is enrolled in fulltime programme at vocational education level 4. The educational institution should be a member of the Code of Conduct for incoming mobility MBO4, and is included in the corresponding register.
English proficiency proof
IELTS certificate confirming that applicant has a score of at least 4.5. Or proof that applicant has been educated in English before.
