Consular authorities make a decision on the visa validity period based on the documentary evidence provided by the applicant, the applicant's profile, the type, and category of visa requested, and the number of entries, and it does not directly depend on the applicant. A short-term visa may be issued with a maximum validity of up to 90 days.

The maximum duration for which one is permitted to stay in the country continuously from the date of entry.

Extension of stay
The extension of the maximum duration of stay in the country initially permitted by the visa, subject to approval by the immigration authorities. This is typically processed within the country without the need for departure.

Extensions are not guaranteed and should be requested well before the current visa expires.

Number of entries

The period during which the immigration authorities review the application and make a decision regarding the issuance of the visa. Only business days are counted, excluding weekends and public holidays.
The processing time is immediate and conducted at border posts by the Security Services.

Consular fee
A fee levied for the processing and evaluation of an application. This charge is non-refundable under any circumstances. In certain instances, the payment of supplementary fees may be required.

Consular fee is the official charge for processing a visa application by an embassy or consulate of the country and does not include any additional payments that may be required depending on the place and method of submission, such as visa center fees, the cost of permits or other documents, postal or courier delivery, and others.

Or an equivalent travel document, valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended duration of stay. Both the original document and photocopies of the pages showing identity details and validity must be provided.
Photograph
Two recent color photographs sized 35x45 mm, taken within the last 6 months, on a white background. The face should occupy 70-80% of the image. Photos must be printed on high-quality matte paper with a plain, light background. Hair must not cover the eyes or eyebrows. Headwear is not allowed unless worn for religious or medical reasons, and the full face must remain visible. Glasses are not recommended. If medically necessary, wear clear, non-reflective lenses that do not obscure the eyes.

Travel health insurance
Valid for the full duration of stay in Morocco, covering at least €30,000, and include emergency medical care, hospitalization, medical evacuation and repatriation, including in case of death.
Documents that specify, substantiate, and confirm the purpose of the visit, as well as provide necessary information about the applicant and their future activities in the country.
Proof of urgent travel necessity
Evidence demonstrating that exceptional and unforeseen circumstances require immediate travel to Morocco, and that these circumstances could not have been anticipated or arranged in advance.
Proof of financial means
Recent bank statement, or any other proof demonstrating that the applicant has sufficient financial means to support their stay in Morocco and for return expenses. The applicant is required to possess an international bank card or, alternatively, an amount exceeding 70 euros in cash per person for each day of the intended stay in Morocco.
Flight itinerary
Round-trip flight ticket with confirmed reservation.
Proof of accommodation
A confirmed hotel reservation, or an invitation letter from the host (or entity), including a formal commitment to accommodate the visitor for the specified duration of their stay.
Proof of purpose
Invitation letter from the host (or entity), medical certificate, and other documents confirming the specific purpose of the visit.
Documents required vary depending on individual circumstances, specific visa conditions, the place, and the method of application.
Current immigration or residence status
National identity card, residence permit, or any other document confirming the applicant's legal status in the country of residence.
Receipt of fee payment
Confirmation of the visa application processing fee.
*Foreign official documents must be apostilled and legalized in accordance with the regulations of the country whose consular or diplomatic mission they are being submitted to. Additionally, they must be accompanied by a certified translation into the official language of that country or into English, unless otherwise specified by the mission's requirements.
