Return ticket or onward ticket
Paid in full or flight booking confirmation. Must be issued by airline or travel company and must contain the applicant's name, flight number and date. Other documented proof of onward travel may also be accepted.

A detailed plan for the stay in Ethiopia, including intended visits and activities.
Yellow fever certificate
A valid yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for individuals traveling from or transiting through yellow fever endemic regions, regardless of their mode of entry.
Travel health insurance
Valid for the full duration of stay in Ethiopia covering at least USD 35,000, and include emergency medical care, hospitalization, and repatriation, including in case of death.
