Description of the visa, its purpose, conditions, peculiarities of issuance, and guidelines for utilization.
Issued to family members of digital nomads, including the spouse, registered partner, and children of the principal applicant or of his/her spouse or partner, provided that the application for a visa is submitted simultaneously.

Validity period
The period during which the visa remains valid and can be used for entry into the country. The validity period or expiration date is indicated directly on the visa itself.
The Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic decides on the application of the digital nomad (and their family members) and, if the conditions are met, will issue an instruction to the embassy/consulate to grant a visa for a stay of more than 90 days. Family members of individuals admitted to the program may apply for a long-term visa for family purposes. The visa is issued for up to 1 year.

Length of stay
The maximum duration for which one is permitted to stay in the country continuously from the date of entry.
The applicants must report their place of stay in the territory to the Police of the Czech Republic within 3 working days after their arrival in the Czech Republic, unless this obligation is fulfilled by their accommodation provider.

Extension of stay
The extension of the maximum duration of stay in the country initially permitted by the visa, subject to approval by the immigration authorities. This is typically processed within the country without the need for departure.
A long-term visa cannot be extended. The stay of principal applicants and their family members may be extended in accordance with applicable regulations. Family members must apply for long-term residence permits for the purpose of family reunification at the same time as the principal applicant’s request for a long-term residence permit. The Ministry of the Interior will decide on these applications and, if the conditions are met, issue the relevant long-term residence permits.

Number of entries
A parameter specifying the number of times the visa holder can enter the country during its validity period. Visas can be single-entry, multiple-entry, or with a specified number of entries.
The program grants the possibility to leave and re-enter the Czech Republic repeatedly.

Processing time
The period during which the immigration authorities review the application and make a decision regarding the issuance of the visa. Only business days are counted, excluding weekends and public holidays.
Decisions on a long-term visa applications for foreign nationals admitted to the Digital Nomad program (and their family members) are made within 45 days from the date of the application submission, provided that the application is evidenced with all legal requirements. Consular fee
A fee levied for the processing and evaluation of an application. This charge is non-refundable under any circumstances. In certain instances, the payment of supplementary fees may be required.

Consular fee is the official charge for processing a residence permit application by an embassy or consulate of the country and does not include any additional payments that may be required depending on the place and method of submission, such as visa center fees, the cost of permits or other documents, postal or courier delivery, and others.

Passport
Issued less than 10 years ago, with a validity period exceeding the duration of the visa by at least three months and with at least two blank pages.
Photograph
Taken in the last 6 months, the photograph must be 45×35 mm, rectangular with straight or rounded corners, and thickness between 0.13–0.27 mm. It must show the applicant’s head and upper shoulders in full-face view, with at least 2 mm of space above the head. The face height (eyes to chin) must be at least 13 mm. The applicant must face the camera directly, with a neutral expression, closed lips, and uncovered open eyes. Retouching or alterations are not permitted, and the image must be free of reflections obscuring facial features. Photographs may be in black-and-white or colour.

Confirmation of inclusion in the Digital Nomad program
Confirmation of the principal applicant’s inclusion in the Digital Nomad program, issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. This confirmation provides a recommendation for visa issuance and serves as evidence of the purpose of stay. The document must be submitted in original in Czech.
Proof of family ties
Original documents proving family relationship: a birth certificate, a marriage certificate or a document of registered partnership with an apostille (or higher verification, so-called super legalization) with a certified translation into Czech.

Internationally recognized payment card
Applicants must have a valid internationally recognized payment card accepted for use in the Czech Republic.
Travel health insurance
Must cover expenses related to complex medical care (preventive and dispensary care, care related to pregnancy and labor) for the entire stay in the Czech Republic. The minimum coverage must be EUR 400,000.
Proof of accommodation
Confirmed lease or sublease agreement, confirmation of ownership of the apartment or house. The accommodation property must be marked with a building number, a registration number, or with a street number, and must be designated for residential, accommodation, or recreational purposes under the Building Act. The document must be submitted in its original form in Czech, and must not be older than 180 days.
Medical certificate
In some cases, citizens or residents of some countries may be required to provide health certificates confirming that they have no easily transmitted diseases such as tuberculosis or other serious diseases that pose a risk and danger to large numbers of people. The document must be submitted either in its original form or as officially certified copies, accompanied by an official translation into Czech, and must not be older than 180 days.
Proof of financial mean
Bank statement or any other proof of income, demonstrating sufficient funds to support oneself for the entire stay and for return expenses. Applicants must prove they have 46,950 CZK (equivalent to funds in the amount of 15 times the subsistence minimum - 3,130 CZK per month) and twice the subsistence minimum for every whole month (except for the first month) of their expected stay in the country. The document must be submitted either in its original form or as officially certified copies, accompanied by an official translation into Czech. Applicants under 18 years of age must prove half the amount of the funds.
Sponsorship letter
In cases of sponsorship by a host, public authority or legal entity, an invitation letter outlining financial commitments or other evidence that all expenses related to the stay will be covered must be provided. The document must be submitted either in its original form or as officially certified copies, accompanied by an official translation into Czech, and must not be older than 180 days.
Parental consent
For applicants under 18 years of age, a document is required in cases where the child will be staying in the Czech Republic without the presence of their parent or legal guardian. This document must include the consent of the parent, legal representative, or guardian, confirming authorization for the child's stay and ensuring the appropriate arrangements for the child's care and supervision in the country. The document must be submitted in its original form, accompanied by an official translation into Czech, and must not be older than 180 days.
Criminal record extract
Confirming no criminal record in the applicant’s home or residence country, where they resided for a total of 6 months during the 3 years preceding the visa application. The document must be submitted either in its original form or as officially certified copies, accompanied by an official translation into Czech, and must not be older than 180 days. Required for applicants aged 15 years or older.
*Foreign official documents must be apostilled and legalized in accordance with the regulations of the country whose consular or diplomatic mission they are being submitted to. Additionally, they must be accompanied by a certified translation into the official language of that country or into English, unless otherwise specified by the mission's requirements.

Valid permanent resident status or proof thereof; all preliminary procedures for visa application have been completed.
