To study full-time in Singapore for more than 30 days, a Student's Pass is required. Applications must be submitted online, and the educational institution will issue a Registration Acknowledgement Letter containing the application number needed for eForm 16. The completed online eForm 16, along with the required documents, is submitted by the educational institution to the ICA of Singapore. The student will be notified of the decision within 1–2 weeks. If approved, an In-Principle Approval (IPA) — a provisional approval for the issuance of the Student's Pass — will be granted. Students who require an entry visa must submit an online application for a 30-day Singapore tourist visa after obtaining the IPA. All travelers are required to have a pre-arranged SG Arrival Card.
