Issued for stays longer than 90 days to individuals admitted to study programme in Norway, including higher education, doctoral programmes, vocational training, schools and education recognition. The applicant must have sufficient financial means and health insurance. For the citizens of countries that require visa to enter Norway, UDI will ask the embassy of Norway in the applicant's place of residence to issue entry visa (D-visa).
Visa validity period
The period during which the visa remains valid and can be used for entry into the country. The validity period or expiration date is indicated directly on the visa itself.
