Description of the visa, its purpose, conditions, peculiarities of issuance, and guidelines for utilization.
Provides foreigners with the opportunity for long-term residence and work in the country. These include programs for highly skilled professionals, investors, entrepreneurs or wealthy individuals. Before an applicant can apply for a visa, an accredited agent (for PVIP) must get a conditional approval from Malaysian Immigration Department or through MDEC for other categories, which allows applying for a visa (known as visa with reference), after paying one-time a participation fee. All travelers need to complete and submit MDAC within 3 days before arrival.
Validity period
The period during which the visa remains valid and can be used for entry into the country. The validity period or expiration date is indicated directly on the visa itself.
